Oh Jodie, the little green girl is so cute. Aren't they just gorgeous together. You will have to speed up this relationship, though: now we will all be expecting big things on Valentine's Day!
Ooooooh ahhhh, she's so sweet, no wonder Ernst set off in a hurry to see her. I'm a bit surprised that he turned up at her door empty handed - no choccies or flowers for his sweetheart????
Looking forward to the next installment. No more interruptions, okay? ;-)
Ooh, what a twist? It wasn't sad at all, he was invited over for some turtle action. Wonder how that works, once they're on their back they die, right?
OMG, does it ever end with your clever mind, they're breeding!! Love his friend's ensemble. I actually had a friend look up your blog while our children were swimming yesterday, both of us in awe of your fine work. Love you Jodie girl, love Posie
Oh is it turtle love? Or has Ernst gone home to mother? Oh please let it be love, I so want Ernst to have his happy ending!!! You are amazing Jodie, just amazing. I hope this is going to be published into a children's book.
(you know you're killing me with the whole Earnest Ernst thing don't you. That I'm dreaming about him. That Jasper wants one 'with a little turtle shell jacket like that one and the letterbox I can put in the strawberry patch'. So NOW, not only am I dreaming about a goddamn stuffed animal I've got a son requesting I make him one. Thank you So SO much.
Pfft.
(You know, Felix and his mates at school have this whole little hand action thing which is called the 'awkward turtle' and which they do at each other if they have to back down/apologise/embarrass themselves in anyway.
Let's mix it up and have Ernst doing the awkward turtle the following day.
This is so fun watching the story unfold. Ernst and his girlfriend/mom/long lost cousin are so cute, and I absolutely love the turtle shell jackets! If they were to run away together to Hawai'i (where I live) there'd have to be turtles with hawaiian print jackets! I can already imagine it. All the "Honu" here would be so envious. ;-)
Is she his birth mother? Was he adopted and the letter was from his birth mother wanting to meet him?? Is that why he had to have a little sit down and think before he got up the courage to ring the door bell? (I have absolutely no idea why but that is the scenario which immediately popped into my head.) Oh, the suspense of having to wait for the answer....just love a Jodie softie serial.
i'm sitting here on a saturday afternoon avoiding the piles of dog hair, dirty dishes and unmade beds...reading all the posts i've missed on your blog...and i see the little turtle dress...i knew you would use that fabric in a fabulous way. thank god i've got you to get me away from my tedious life!
Oh Ernst !!!! ???
