I am popping in to show you my newest pattern, Flock. Some of you will have seen it floating around on either FB or IG . These chubby friends can be made with felt or minky or fllece and they are super squishy.
The pattern contains all the variations and more ! You can personalise to your hearts content.
The pattern is listed in my Etsy shop as PDF but I also have a paper copy to giveaway.
If you would like to enter, just leave a comment telling me which bird is your favourite.
In other news there is only two more Monday-get-ups until the end of school term and yes I am counting.
They are adorable! I don't want to be included in the draw so I won't pick a favorite since they are all cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't need to be included in the draw as I already purchased the pdf version. But I just wanted to say these birds are just too stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the heads-up about the school holidays. I never know when they are on, so don't know if I should be slowing down to 40 or not in school zones.
I would make all of them. I love that you tried them in felt, cotton, and minky. The sulfur crested cockatoo is a favorite in my family so I'd probably stitch it first. You make the best patterns!
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather had aviaries of budgies so they would just win in the favourite 'stakes', but here on the farm we are privvy to see many species of birds, black and white cockies particularly. I love your designs, Jodes - the faces are always so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe cockatiel (?) with the rosy red cheeks would be first on the perch for my 18-month-old granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteThe budgies. They are exact replicas of my two pet budgies, Smudge and Ozzie.
ReplyDeleteWenji
It’s so hard to pick just one. But I will say the budgie, it has the cutest little face. I would love to make a flock for my newborn son.
ReplyDeleteOMG, when I saw these I instantly thought of a friend of mine who loves birds! The blue budgie is her favourite so that's my choice. This pattern would go straight to her if I won. Thanks for being so creative and making these!
ReplyDeleteI guess 'all of them' does not count eh?
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Budgie because we had a sweet girl kind of those colours pass in my hand last October.
I would make them all and I would love to try a magpie, as we have several magpie babies on the farm!
ReplyDeleteI love these. My favourite bird is a robin. They always cheer me up when I see them.
ReplyDeleteLove the black cockatoo: his 'hairstyle' is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteApparently I'm 'unknown'

ReplyDeleteI love the budgies because I had one when I was little and because, aw, their little faces.
My nan's favourite bird was always the weiro/cockatiel - doesn't nature pick great complimentary colours?
ReplyDeleteThe cockatiel is my favorite. I love that little fringe on the top!
ReplyDeleteI like the black cockatiel and the silhouette the head feathers make. Actually, probably can't make just one 'cause they're so cute in a flock. Not cute, but you know what I mean.😄
ReplyDeleteThose birds are just too gorgeous. Love the budgies... Very clever and I love all the tiny extra details you add. You may have outdone yourself again.
ReplyDeleteThey are all super cute! I think my favorite is the cockatiel. We had one just like that when I was a kid.
