There was a parade in my garden today,
albeit a tiny one.
It was the festival of new heaters, lovely lunches and hairy dogs.
Even though the tallest participant was only 8 inches high
it felt like a big deal.
(The fabric winner is Chris The Quilter - and that deserves a tiny parade too)
They are impossibly cute, want to make them all! What sort of felt/fabric do you use Jodie? I used a very thin wool blend felt to make some of your rabbits and I was not a happy camper with it's pilling and general untidiness after a few hugs from my daughter. Obviously needs to be sturdier!!
ReplyDeleteHi Tam, I use 100% pure new wool felt. i buy it from Winterwood, a store in Melbourne. they are also online. once you use it, you will never use anything else. it is sturdy and beautiful.
DeleteNow you need to get cracking on the 76 trombones.
ReplyDeleteThe best sort of parade!
ReplyDeleteand nobody rained on it
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable parade. Great to see them out in the lovely weather.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Congrats to Chris. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic! Wish I could have been there in person, cheering along.
ReplyDeleteGood thing the resident hairy beast didn't scare off the tiny parade of darling critters.
ReplyDeleteThey would make the best friends ever for little people (and big people too!)
ReplyDeleteI want to join in and wave a tiny flag! Impossibly cute!
ReplyDeleteThey look so happy together!
ReplyDeleteOk....so.....please tell me you are releasing a pattern....I really need a parade in my garden....and wee little grand niece and nephew do too....Please...?????????????? I am absolutely certain I am not the only one....Made my day to see your happy Art!
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a better way to celebrate new heating than having a teeny tiny parade - they're adorable :)
ReplyDeleteYou gotta LOVE a parade.
ReplyDeleteum, Finn(the doctor!) sent a text to my hairy dog complaining that he wasn't invited to the parade party....animal psychologist has been called to make a 'welfare check' on poor Finn. ;p
ReplyDeleteIna, thats so funny. I actually have a photo of Finn, during the photo shoot looking very puzzled . he is always at the photo shoots.
DeleteI loooove your tiny parade! especially the giraffe, I have always loved the way giraffes look.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely adorable
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Chris the Quilter! The wonderful parade of animals are fabulous.
