Some days it's just not worth getting out of bed, Jod; if only we knew beforehand! Did the unhappy event occur in a roundabout? I've had so many near misses in roundabouts. Hope the hippo made you happy, anyway, and hope the day improved and hope you're not still grumpy today.
Great that everybody's O.K. - and the car too! - which is the best thing you can say about car accident situations. Love the hippo and hope your day gets much, much better.
After successfully negotiating you way through the tangled public servant red tape system to get a passport I am sure you have all the necessary skills (and patience) to deal with an insurance claim, without screaming, crying or nasty words...however a little bit of retail therapy might be called for. Not sure where as Mum tells me that BP is closing. :(
You are an egg of the goodest order my friend.

ReplyDeleteHaiku Hippo, saves you thinking of another name.
Glad they were nice people. I hope your car wasn't dinged too badly. Haiku Hippo is a great name, just need to come up with a Haiku for the pattern.
