But I just can’t seem to finish with the robots:
Message bots
The bus stop bots
Disco Bots
and my newest little family of robots made for the Daylesford Craft Experience.
These guys are made with delicious 100% wool felt and are possible the easiest ever toy to make.
I can’t wait to see what people think of them in real life. I am quite unnaturally attached to some of my creations as you know.
If you are coming along to the Daylesford Craft Experience you will get the pattern for these guys (as well as my other two projects ) in your goody bag.and looking at these pictures I can’t help but wonder about a robot dog…I mean it seems obvious no?
They are absolutely gorgeous! Any chance of seeing one in real life at craft camp?
ReplyDeleteNo you're not! They're so freaking cute.
ReplyDeleteJod,
ReplyDeleteYou never disappoint, these are simply fabulous!

Love 'em, Jod - so cute, and the colours are great too.
ReplyDeleteLove them. Do they help around the house?
ReplyDeleteI am so in LOVE with these darling little bots!!! They are just so adorably adorable!!! Will you have patterns for your newest bots soon?
ReplyDeleteYou do know of course that I'm totally in love with your robots and I don't do softies...!!!

So much happiness there!
ReplyDeleteOh Jodie they are gorgeous (as per usual). They remind me of the kids cartoon "Little Robots". I now have the theme song running through my head.
ReplyDeleteNow I just have to work out how to 'click my heels' to get from Roma to Daylesford.
I want to live in your world and YES to a robo doggie.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!! Love your bots too.
ReplyDeleteYour bots are completely captivating.
ReplyDeleteI thought you might say a robot HORSE.
:)
Love love love your "bots" Jodie. The last family are really cute too.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sharon
Love your bots! The message bot I made Wil 3 years ago is still a source of open jealousy from Amy. Too cute :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm counting the sleeps until I get to Daylesford. See you and the bots there.
ReplyDeleteThese are so outrageously cute, I LOVE them :)
ReplyDeleteJust like hedgehogs....robots are best in large groups.
ReplyDeleteOh a robot dog I vote for a robot dog...but then I always was a fan of K9...P-Bot has been informed that his relative is coming to play from Daylesford and he is most excited...mmmm, just may have to pack felt in the stitchy stuff for that weekend...not long now, yay!...
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any dead horses, which is a blessing!
ReplyDeleteThose guys are all very cute and I don't blame you for being obsessed by them.
Adorable!
Cheers
Have you seen the Wallace and Grommit movie about the dog robot? It's pretty awesome. I think it's called A Close Shave, 30 minutes, made in 1995. Dog Robot awesome :)
ReplyDeleteNever!
ReplyDeleteRobots in general are cool.
Your robots are Totes Amazeballs! (as the young people I know say)
I love them, Jodie! (My boys would too.)
ReplyDeletePreciosos, como todo lo que haces.
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! Love the bottom ones best. I think a robot rabbit would be a better companion!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea! A robot dog. Perhaps it ought to have a robot cat to try to chase..........No?
ReplyDeleteK-9 anyone???
ReplyDeleteYou could channel Dr Who he had a robot dog I think. All your creations are amazing.
ReplyDeleteRobot dog for sure...and a robot cutie with a big bow in her antennae??? Cathyx
ReplyDeleteI've made a robot dog - from your pattern! Sort of. I mean, I just took the legs and arms and made them at 50% on the copy machine, still used button joints, fussed with the neck/body a bit and added a little wire tail and ear antennae... the dog was just the right size for the robot's companion. So yes, it works and you already have most of it done!!!
ReplyDeleteA dogbot is a must! My son's fav movie when he was young was Jimmy Neutron which he always called "The Boy and the Hard Dog" (robot dog!). Every boy needs a dogbot!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE 'em! ;p Wouldn't that make the BEST gift for a little one? Boy or girl would love 'em...TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER! ;p
ReplyDeleteLordy you are aces, these guys are fantastic!! The Craft Experience sounds too amazing for words, have a blast, love Posie

ReplyDeleteWay cute Bots.
Of course they need four legged companions.
Enjoy playing with the felt.
Love your botts!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not! We love the robots too - in all their shapes and sizes! Did you ever write the message bots as a pattern? They've always been my favourites :o) Locket xxx
