I love this last comment! One of my favourite songs from childhood was about the mice living in a windmill in Amsterdam. Love it! Your mice are adorable Jodie. You are one clever chicken! Wendy xx
Awwwww they're so cute! It reminds me of when my little brother just started to talk (I'm 6 years older). One of his middle names in Joseph but he couldn't pronounce it, so he would say Jofus instead.
I've had some hair raising rodent adventures of late but I'd welcome those two little critters with open arms. They are adventurous creatures aren't they? I wonder where they will end up x
Jofus and Lally went to sea In a charming blue boat, With a napkin sail that The wind blew free; "I do hope you and me, Shall stay afloat" Said Lally dreaming her favourite mousey dreams, While Jofus fed her cheddar ice creams.
Hither they went and also yon, Over the waves of the Melted Brie Behind them the moon ahead the sun And they went in a boat to sea.
The Moon-eyed Cat prowled and sniffed "I smell lunch" he said to the flowers. The flowers would not answer, they were adrift In earthy, loamy soil amid the grassy hours.
Jofus and Lally sailed away and still they sail Through mousey dreams of cheese and bacon rinds While their boat is carried by the Friendly Whale And they sleep amid Jodie's fabric of all kinds.
I love these little guys. I had to laugh when I looked at them. My daughter who is now 22 used to have pretend mousies who she visited with regularly when she was about 3. Thanks for the Mousies!
Super super cute. Think how cute they would be staged for illustration in a child's book. I'm not a rodent lover (having battled them once at our house) but these are sooo darn cute.
Oh my word, how fab are these, they remind me of 'The Fingerbobs' . It was one of my fav childrens programmes, here's the link http://www.thechestnut.com/finger.htm
Oh gosh these are adorable (and so is your snail *wink*).. and so funny! I agree, I love the story as much as the adorable... eeeek Mice? ha ha hugs Robyn xx
