The first one is "this is my favourite cup"
This cup is a bit of a joke that a friend at work gave me- on the other side it reads "Proud to be a public serving, friendly, book stamping, softly spoken, helpful, well read librarian. " I think the joke was meant to be the "softly spoken" bit.
This cup can most often be found in the sewing room or around the lounge - half full of cold bitter tea, where I have wandered off and forgotten about it.
Miss Three buttons has asked me to come up with a "this is" for next Sunday so next Sunday
"This is ..............what scares me".
Oh I think it is just great!!!!I love the cup!such a funny story!
ReplyDeleteI love the theme you picked too!thanks!

Your cup is great. Mmmm something that scares me - that should be a bit of fun.
ReplyDeleteI shall be back next Sunday (please make it swans. No-one here believes me about black swans!)
ReplyDeleteNice cup, Jodie, hee hee!
ReplyDeleteHmm, what scares me... great choice!
Next week will be very interesting. I'm scared now because I hope that the thing that scares me most is not in my house to take a photo of!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog - I'm glad I'm not the only one who's ridiculously over-excitable when it comes to stationary!
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow Librarian, I love your mug :o) The one I've always coveted is this one - it appeals to my sense of humour!

Hey Jodie, need your help as a'public serving, friendly, softly spoken and helpful librarian'.
ReplyDeletePr. C-W is in Gr. Four and they have a project in rivers. She chose the Murray!! We have googled to within an inch of our lives but need more direction. Surprisingly her school library doesn't have much info on it! Got any thoughts?
oooh, what scares me? Lots and lots of things...probably too many to mention. But the most pathetic one is very short people, I am convinced that very short people are quite tough and don't like tall people and would beat me up if I look at them the wrong way (which is quite easy, as I'm a bit on the blind side and my glasses never seem strong enough so I tend to have a screwed up expression on my face quite a lot)
ReplyDeleteFirst class cup there!!!Love the orange:)
ReplyDeleteGreat cup!The story is great as well.
ReplyDeleteI love a cup with a sense of humour! Glad to know I'm not the only one who loves my daggy mugs!..not that the nug you chose is daggy..loving it. Thanks for dropping by. Lil
ReplyDeleteOkay you can erase my last comment..if you want. I forgot to add my url..for ligit purposes!
ReplyDeleteWhat scares me - gosh, some days it could be anything. On other days, nothing scares me - I am INVINCIBLE!!!! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
ReplyDeleteoh that is a hard one isnt ...will have to think about that but Im sure there are lots of things that scare me...
