Then I iron the seam flat open (so left seam ironed to the left and right seam to the right).<br /><br />Then I pin my zip in, with the teeth in the middle of the open seam - you should not be able to see the zip as the closed seam will cover the teeth. Then sew zip (right side up) your standard zipper foot.
